Terms of service

• Users sign in with Microsoft Entra ID and must be authorised by your organisation.
• Your administrators grant access to each HubSpot portal by email, and choose each user’s role.
• You’re responsible for activity under your accounts and for removing access when someone leaves.
• Tell us promptly at legal@catmedia.ie if you suspect unauthorised access.

When you use the Services, you agree not to:

• break any law, or upload data you don’t have the right to process
• send spam or contact people without a lawful basis
• bypass security controls, roles or approvals, or access data you’re not authorised to see
• copy, reverse engineer or resell the Services, except where the law allows or we’ve agreed in writing
• introduce malware, or place an unreasonable load on the Services

You own the data you bring to the Services. You give us permission to process it only to provide the Services, as set out in our data processing statement. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to use it and for the instructions you give.

furball is designed to help you review data before it changes your CRM. Imports start only after a user confirms them, and merges follow your review or the auto merge rules you choose to turn on. Please check results and settings before you approve them.

The Services connect to HubSpot through HubSpot OAuth and rely on Microsoft for sign-in and hosting. Your use of HubSpot, Microsoft and any other connected service is governed by your agreements with those providers. We aren’t responsible for their availability, changes to their products or APIs, or changes you make in them directly.

Some features use enterprise AI services to suggest mappings or improve data quality. AI features in furball Data Ingestion Studio are optional and off until you enable them. AI suggestions can be wrong, so review them before you rely on them. Your data isn’t used to train AI models.

When Cat Media manages imports or data projects for you, the scope, timing and deliverables are set out in a statement of work. We’ll deliver them with reasonable skill and care, and rely on you for timely information, access and approvals.

Fees, billing periods and payment terms are set out in your order form or statement of work. Fees exclude VAT and other taxes, which you’ll pay where they apply. If an invoice remains unpaid after we’ve given you notice, we may suspend the Services until it’s settled.

We work to keep the Services available, secure and reliable, but occasional maintenance or interruptions may occur. We regularly improvefurball and may change features. We’ll give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you’ve paid for. Roadmap features aren’t commitments until they’re released.

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with reasonable care, use it only for the purposes of this agreement, and share it only with people who need it and are bound by similar obligations. Read how we protect data on our security page.

Cat Media owns furball, including its software, design, content and brand. While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your internal business purposes. If you share feedback, we may use it to improve the Services without obligation to you.

Each party confirms it has the authority to enter into this agreement. Except as expressly set out in these terms or your agreement with us, and to the extent the law allows, the Services are provided without other warranties, including that they’ll be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law.

Otherwise, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Each party’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid for the Services in the twelve months before the claim.

Either party may end this agreement as set out in your order form, or if the other materially breaches it and doesn’t fix the breach within 30 days of notice. We may suspend access straight away if needed to protect the Services, other customers or your data. When the agreement ends, access stops and we delete or return your data as described in our data processing statement.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
